No matter how well you’ve prepared your emergency kits, they need to be updated frequently. You may have different clothing size needs, expired food (even canned foods), water & medical prescriptions, old batteries in flashlights etc. Go through your emergency kits every 6 months and evaluate how to keep them updated ✔✔
One way to remember to check your kits is to choose a certain time, like the first week of January and July. You can also set a reminder in your smartphone or calendar to update your kit ?
