The application seems to be more business-focused, but the philosophy can be used for everyday life ?
The concept is simple. Focus on making consistent small improvements ? rather than overwhelming yourself with trying to do too much ?️
Say you want to exercise: if you have a daunting goal in mind (“I’m going to run 2 miles”) ?? then sometimes it’s too hard to start and you end up doing nothing ? But if you go in expecting to jog for 5 minutes ⏰, it’s easier to just keep going for another 10+. It’s better to move even a little for 5-10 minutes than to avoid exercise completely because you don’t want to run 2 miles.
This can be used for learning a skill as well. Want to learn guitar? Start by playing a few minutes a day. ?
Want to eat healthier? ?Don’t drop down to chicken breast and salad right away, ? just eat a little less of the bad food regularly, or take out 1 soda a week, and build up from there ?
Continue to improve and adjust your discipline to make it better ?
